Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Material Sciences, or relevant field
- Experience with laboratory animals and FELASA certification preferred
- Proficiency in imaging techniques such as MRI and confocal microscopy
- Familiarity with nanoparticle synthesis, functionalization, and characterization methods
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
Job Description: The postdoctoral fellow will focus on experimental research work related to the ERC Consolidator Grant MAGNETO project. Responsibilities include conducting preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies using mouse models for IBD, optimizing nanoparticle visualization through MRI, and investigating nanoparticle-cellular interactions. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of clinically relevant diagnostic and therapeutic platforms for gastrointestinal diseases.
