Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
  • Experience or education related to sustainable practices in underground infrastructure.
  • Expertise in survey design, statistical analysis, stakeholder dynamics, code of ethics development, and risk assessment.
  • Strong organizational skills for coordinating interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a group environment.

Job Description:

  • Perform literature reviews on GHG emissions in underground infrastructure.
  • Develop an inventory database of GHG emission factors.
  • Design and implement surveys to gather data on GHG emissions.
  • Analyze survey responses to identify emission reduction opportunities.
  • Develop an online inventory tool and system dynamics model.
  • Participate in field data collection and case study development.
  • Produce technical reports, research papers, and presentations.
