Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Expertise in next-generation sequencing data analysis (Illumina and ONT platforms).
- Strong programming skills (Python, R, C/C++ or similar).
- Proficiency with workflow management tools (Snakemake, Nextflow, CWL) and version control (Git).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven publication record in cancer genomics or related fields.
Job Description
The postdoctoral fellow will:
- Design and implement an analysis pipeline to detect low tumor fractions from plasma ctDNA using genomic data.
- Adapt and evaluate existing tools and develop novel algorithms to enhance MRD sensitivity and specificity.
- Perform longitudinal analyses of plasma samples, tracking ctDNA tumor fraction over time.
- Conduct tumor-informed analysis leveraging matched tumor and normal WGS data.
- Generate comprehensive reports, visualizations, and manuscripts for internal review and publications.
