Postdoctoral Fellow-Liquid Biopsy: The Widman Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a highly motivated and creative Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to innovative research in the field of liquid biopsy. Eligibility / Qualification
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, Cancer Genomics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with liquid biopsy technologies and circulating tumor DNA analysis.
- Experience with large-scale genomic datasets.
- Background in cancer genomics, minimal residual disease (MRD) detection, or early cancer detection assays.
Job Description
- Develop, implement, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing liquid biopsy sequencing data.
- Apply AI and data science techniques to detect low-frequency cancer-derived signals in circulating cell-free DNA.
- Analyze large genomic datasets to support the development of tumor-naive circulating tumor DNA detection approaches.
- Integrate multi-modal genomic and clinical data to refine predictive models for early detection and treatment responses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, computational biologists, and clinicians at MSK.
