Postdoctoral Fellow | Mitochondria-Immune: The West Lab at The Jackson Laboratory is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a research program on the study of mitochondrial genome instability and its effects on immune responses in the melanoma tumor microenvironment.The candidate will help us understand mitochondria’s role in immune response and inflammation and investigate how mitochondria and the immune system communicate in disease and aging.The research will involve multidisciplinary approaches, employing cell biology, immunology, and physiology, along with cutting-edge techniques such as engineered mouse models, single-cell multi-omics, super-resolution imaging, and CRISPR-based cellular tools.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field of study
- Strong training background in molecular biology, cell biology, and in vivo mouse models
- Experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, and single-cell technologies are particularly preferred
- At least one 1st author publication record in a peer-reviewed journal
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to work independently and effectively in a productive team
