Postdoctoral Fellow – Molecular Biology & Genetics: The Hammell Lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to cutting-edge research in molecular biology and genetics. Eligibility/Qualification:
- Education: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or a related field is required.
- Experience/Skills: Prior experience with model organisms is advantageous, but candidates with a strong background in molecular genetics and/or biochemical techniques are strongly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and dedicated to research.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the Hammell Lab to work on a project spanning molecular and developmental genetics, structural biology, and protein function. The research will focus on understanding how a newly discovered molecular clock regulates the transcriptional dynamics of conserved regulatory RNAs. This work will be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Leemor Joshua-Tor (HHMI) and is fully funded by a shared NIH R01 grant. The position provides an opportunity to gain extensive training in a cross-disciplinary environment, using various model systems, including C. elegans.
