Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Oligodendrocyte Research
Designation: Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Research Area: Oligodendrocyte Research
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States of America
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field such as stem cell biology, neurobiology, or a related discipline expected by May 1, 2025.
- Strong background in cell culture techniques, iPSC differentiation, and molecular biology.
- Experience with single-cell RNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience in CNS or neurology or related field.
- Demonstrated skills in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our research team as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Oligodendrocyte Research. The successful candidate will establish a research program focused on understanding mechanisms underlying oligodendrocyte lineage cells growth, differentiation, maintenance, and remyelination potential in the central nervous system (CNS). Responsibilities include:
- Conducting experimental research to investigate the growth, differentiation, and metabolic support of OPCs, as well as their myelination potential in the developing CNS.
- Utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) and spatial transcriptomics data from iPSCs-derived translational models to identify disease-associated oligodendrocytes (DOLs) markers.
- Developing and maintaining long-term in vitro models of OPCs differentiation from human pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that mimic in vivo conditions.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute experiments.
- Analyzing and interpreting data and contributing to scientific publications and presentations.
- Presenting research findings at conferences and scientific meetings.
How to Apply:
Applicants should submit a cover letter outlining their research experience and interests, a detailed curriculum vitae (CV), a list of publications, and contact information for three references.
