Job Description: The successful candidate will develop molecular and cell biology assays to detect drug-induced reversion of RSV perturbations. Collaborating with the Boes group (UMC Utrech), the candidate will devise an experimental strategy to assess the impact of chemical compounds on transcription, cytokine secretion, apoptosis/pyroptosis, and cell proliferation in A549 and HEp-2 lung epithelial cells. Responsibilities also include scaling up reporter assays in the drug screen robotics facility.
