Eligibility/Qualification:

- Proficiency in standard biochemistry, molecular and cell biology techniques.
- Experience in target validation and drug screening.
- Knowledge of `omics technologies and high-throughput approaches.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Desirable: Previous experience in the in vitro assessment of drug actions.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for developing molecular and cell biology assays to detect drug-induced reversals of RSV-induced perturbations. The candidate will collaborate with the Boes group (UMC Utrecht) on experimental strategies assessing the impact of designed chemical compounds on transcription, cytokine secretion, apoptosis/pyroptosis, autophagy, and cell proliferation in A549 and HEp-2 lung epithelial cells. Furthermore, the candidate will scale reporter assays for execution in the drug screening robotics facility.
