In the appointment process, special attention will be given to candidates with degrees in a relevant discipline (engineering, applied mathematics, soil science, ecology, hydrology, (bio)physics) and a strong computational, mathematical, or statistical background (e.g., metaanalysis, DNA-based microbial community analysis, mathematical modelling). Proven experience with computer programming (e.g. R, Python, Matlab) is vital. Experience of publishing in top-level journals in English is also important.

Job Description: The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for analyzing data from literature and project partners, developing new process-based models describing soil biota function, attending project meetings, writing result reports, and participating in various project activities beyond modeling.
