Eligibility/Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- PhD degree must be obtained by the time of appointment.
- Strong research achievements and publications in the relevant research field.
- Ability and willingness to actively participate in interdisciplinary research.
- Excellent English communication skills for research activities.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and research team.
Job Description
The selected Postdoctoral Fellow will work in the ICReDD List Group and contribute to integrated research combining computational, information, and experimental sciences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Development of stereoselective reactions using asymmetric catalysis.
- Design and optimization of chemical reactions and catalysts using computational chemistry and machine learning approaches.
- Experimental validation of computationally designed reactions and catalysts.
- Conducting interdisciplinary research within the Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery framework.
- Publishing research findings and contributing to scientific activities.
Employment Duration
- Initial appointment: 1 year from the starting date.
- Appointment may be renewed annually depending on funding and institutional requirements.
- Employment can be extended up to March 31, 2028, within the allowable period.
Salary
- Approximately 4.5 million JPY per year under the annual salary system.
- Salary will be determined according to Hokkaido University regulations.

Working Conditions
