Postdoctoral Fellow Position in NTU: A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the laboratory of Asst. Prof. Phillip Grant at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB), Nanyang Technological University.

Designation: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Research Area: Organic Chemistry

Location: School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Nanyang Technological University, 62 Nanyang Dr, Singapore 637459

Eligibility/Qualification: The ideal candidate will be a passionate scientist and problem-solver with a PhD in organic chemistry. Experience in multi-step synthesis or synthetic methods development is desirable. Candidates from traditionally underrepresented groups in STEM are especially encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

  • Engage in research projects focused on developing innovative approaches to the chemical synthesis of high-value organic molecules, both natural and designer.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable strategies and tactics in organic synthesis.
  • Participate in projects aimed at the development of a ‘green’ platform for rapid access to complex natural product-like compounds for drug discovery.
