Eligibility/Qualification
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in chemical education, discipline-based education, science education, or a related field at the time of appointment.
- Demonstrated project design experience.
- Experience in data collection methods.
- Proficiency in qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis using relevant software.
- Experience with dissemination of research findings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience mentoring graduate and/or undergraduate students in research processes.
Job Description
Basic Function:
- Conduct research on discipline-based education projects related to the Pratt Research Group’s initiatives.
- Develop and propose research projects that align with personal interests and those of the group.
- Engage in the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, and contribute to research publications and presentations.
