Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in statistics, mathematics, physics, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience in single-cell omics/multiomics is desirable.
- Proven ability to publish research in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong analytical and programming skills (preferably in R and/or Python).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Saez-Rodriguez group, you will:
- Develop and apply computational methods and tools to extract disease mechanisms from single-cell and spatially resolved multi-omic data.
- Lead your own research within the lab while collaborating with group members and external partners.
- Stay updated on advances in the field and translate this knowledge into research activities.
- Write up research findings for presentation and publication.
- Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposals for external support.
- Communicate technical material clearly to the group, institute, and at scientific conferences.
- Assist in supervising junior lab members and contribute to the overall functioning of the research group.
