- Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Jin’s group, you will:
- Lead both independent and collaborative research projects in statistical genetics/genomics, causal inference, predictive modeling, and health equity
- Focus on data integration methods, equitable disease risk prediction, Mendelian randomization analysis, transcriptome-wide association studies, and scalable Bayesian modeling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at the University of Pennsylvania and Johns Hopkins University
- Lead or co-lead publications in high-impact scientific and statistical journals
- Have the opportunity to apply for NIH grants, such as the NIH Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00)
- Contribute to advancements in aging research, mental disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, and kidney diseases
