Job Description

The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with the Forest Vegetation Ecology group under the supervision of Dr. Stefan Hupperts and Prof. Michael Gundale. The role includes:

  • Conducting field and greenhouse experiments.
  • Exploring the interactions among diazotrophs, fungi, and plants.
  • Developing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals.
  • Engaging in both independent and collaborative research.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a PhD in forest ecology or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in areas such as plant community ecology, microbial ecology, soil ecology, and biogeochemistry.
  • Field and laboratory experience, as well as familiarity with stable isotope techniques, is advantageous.
