Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Immunology: The Laboratory of Immunoregulation and T cell biology at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo, is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Molecular Immunology. The position is funded by the European Research Council and offers an exciting opportunity to join a motivated team working on the biology of T cell subsets and their role in shaping the adaptive immune system.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a project-relevant PhD degree (doctoral dissertation must be submitted for evaluation by the closing date)
- Background in molecular biology or immunology
- Proven knowledge of molecular and cell biology techniques
- Experience with mouse models, tissue culture, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics (including R and single cell RNA seq analysis) preferred
- Prior experience working with T cells beneficial
- Strong proficiency in verbal and written English
Job Description:
The candidate will join a motivated team studying the biology of T cell subsets in the Laboratory of Immunoregulation and T cell biology.The project focuses on T follicular helper cells and how they influence the germinal center reaction and the quality of germinal center B cells and protective antibodies. The candidate will contribute to research cooperation within the project, utilizing tools such as photoactivation of microanatomical areas, 2-photon intravital microscopy, and biochemical tagging of cellular interactions. This job is a chance for someone to do research on T cells and develop new ways to understand them. They will also work on clinical research related to monoclonal antibodies used for treatment.
