Eligibility/Qualification
- Applicants must hold a PhD or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctorate.
- Experience with CRISPR technologies, particularly in mammalian model systems.
- Strong theoretical and practical background in cellular and molecular neurobiology.
- Prior experience handling stem cells and generating brain organoids is highly desirable.
- Problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills are essential.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in the following activities:
- Generate genetically engineered induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines.
- Conduct CRISPR screens in relevant 2D cell and 3D brain organoid models.
- Analyze single-cell multiome data with support from computational experts.
- Work closely with a PhD student, while also leading specific tasks independently.
- Adjust the original research plan as necessary, guided by the Principal Investigator and senior lab manager.
