Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in molecular biology or related discipline
  • Proven experience in advanced microscopy in chromosome or cell biology
  • Experience in plant systems or studying meiosis is desirable
  • Strong interest in understanding molecular mechanisms of meiotic recombination
  • Skills in high-resolution fluorescence microscopy, quantitative image analysis, genome sequencing, molecular cloning, and transformation

Job Description:

  • Utilize advanced microscopy, molecular biology, genomics, and genetics to study meiotic recombination in Arabidopsis
  • Investigate spatiotemporal localization and dynamic behavior of recombination machinery
  • Use live-imaging, super-resolution microscopy, molecular biology, genomics, and genetic dissection for research
