Research Area

The focus area includes innovative methodologies for the development of novel chemical proteomic strategies aimed at discovering new disease targets within Oncology, Immunology, and Neuroscience.

Eligibility/Qualifications

  • Required Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to independently drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent planning and experiment coordination skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse colleagues.
  • Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Familiarity with chemical proteomics principles and workflows is preferred.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Scholar, you will:

  • Plan and execute wet lab activities including photocatalyst development, organic synthesis, mechanistic characterization, and chemical proteomics workflows.
  • Independently interpret scientific literature to design, perform, and analyze experiments.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team across academia and industry.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at scientific meetings.
