Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Contribute to assembling a new ultra-high vacuum experiment chamber and a laser cooling and trapping system.
- Play a crucial role in achieving Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) and loading it into an optical lattice.
- Investigate the collective spin properties of around 10,000 atoms in a 2D geometry.
- Measure quantum fluctuations to provide evidence of entanglement.
- Develop new tools and techniques in adaptive optics, vacuum control, and magnetic field measurements.
