Eligibility/Qualification

  • Ph.D. or equivalent degree in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, computational biology, or related fields.
  • Expertise in mouse genetics, tissue processing/cell isolation, and/or flow cytometry preferred.
  • Background in quantitative microscopy and statistical modeling is advantageous.

Job Description

The selected candidate will engage in cutting-edge research using in vivo mouse models and transcriptomic techniques to investigate:

  1. The localization and specialized functions of immune cells in distinct tissue niches, focusing on homeostasis and age-related dysfunction.
  2. The molecular and cellular processes that drive immune responses post-tissue amputation, aiming to identify signals that foster multi-tissue regeneration over scarring.

The position entails access to a new state-of-the-art intravital microscopy system and collaboration within the vibrant Molecular Biology Department at Princeton.
