Job Description:
The selected candidate will lead an innovative project on malaria parasite cell cycles using Plasmodium berghei as a model organism. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting the first genome-wide reverse genetics screen in malaria parasites at single-cell resolution.
- Integrating multi-omics data to understand parasite biology.
- Following up on screening candidates and dissecting cell cycle regulatory mechanisms in Plasmodium berghei.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary lab members on malaria biology projects.
- Mentoring and training students in experimental techniques and data analysis.

About the Institute:
LPHI is a CNRS and INSERM-affiliated research unit at the University of Montpellier, specializing in infectious microbe research and host immune response.
