Postdoctoral in Molecular Genetics & Synthetic Biology: The Hsiung Lab at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking highly motivated and exceptionally capable Postdoctoral Researchers to join an innovative research program at the intersection of molecular genetics, synthetic biology, and functional genomics. The lab recently developed a cutting-edge functional genomics platform leveraging engineered CRISPR-Cas12a to explore higher-order combinatorial genetic perturbations (Hsiung et al., Nature Biotechnology, 2024). Successful candidates will work on pioneering projects aimed at understanding and engineering emergent properties of genetic elements and tissues.
