Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Statistics, Applied Probability, or a closely related discipline (or to be acquired soon).
- Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD may be appointed as Research Assistants.
- Practical experience in a research environment and/or publications in relevant, refereed journals.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming, preferably in R, Python, or MATLAB.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the NEST team, you will:
- Contribute to innovative model creation, computational technique development, and theory underpinning to address real applied issues related to dynamic networks.
- Collaborate on research projects led by Imperial College investigators, including Ed Cohen, Nick Heard, Guy Nason, or Almut Veraart.
- Engage with a larger multidisciplinary team of academics and a growing cohort of postdoctoral and PhD colleagues across the collaborating universities.
- Participate in a wide range of research activities and actively contribute to the advancement of stochastic network data modelling and prediction.
