Eligibility/Qualification

Required:

  1. Ph.D. in Organometallic or Organic Chemistry (total synthesis, organic material synthesis, synthetic methodologies).
  2. Experience in organic synthesis during Ph.D. studies.
  3. Ability to plan and conduct independent research.
  4. Teamwork skills to collaborate with lab members and Principal Investigator (PI).

Preferred:

  1. Experience in Organometallic chemistry.
  2. Strong background in organic synthesis.
  3. Experience in theoretical chemical calculations.

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will conduct advanced research in organometallic chemistry focusing on:

  • Synthesis of organometallic compounds using glovebox and Schlenk line techniques.
  • Synthesis of ligands and substrates via organic synthesis.
  • Analysis using NMR, SCXRD, GC, GCMS, EPR, etc.
  • High-pressure reactions (up to 10 bar) using specialized reactors.
  • Electrochemistry and photochemistry of organometallic complexes.
  • Theoretical chemical calculations related to the research.
