Postdoctoral in Parasite Structural Biology: The University of Oxford’s Department of Biochemistry is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Molecular Parasitology group led by Professor Matthew Higgins. This role focuses on understanding the structural basis of host-parasite interactions mediated by human-infective parasites, such as those causing malaria and sleeping sickness.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A PhD/DPhil or near completion in Biochemistry or Structural Biology.
  • Experience in protein expression and purification, along with the analysis of protein-protein interactions.
  • Proficiency in structural biology methods, specifically cryogenic electron microscopy and data processing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
