Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Biology or related field
  • Experience in developing and implementing assays for stress tolerance in high throughput
  • Knowledge of cell biology and stress signaling in plants
  • Good skills in screening technologies
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Ability to collaborate with students and technicians
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and focus
  • Willingness to work in an international environment

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing the effect of PrD variation on temperature-dependent gene expression
  • Creating assays to analyze gene expression dynamics in response to temperature
  • Conducting original research to identify genes necessary for temperature stress tolerance
  • Collaborating with team members to analyze experimental datasets
  • Writing scientific publications and presenting results to international audiences
