Eligibility/Qualification

  • A good first degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Natural Sciences.
  • A PhD (or close to submission) in Solid State Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in modelling molecular crystals and scientific programming (e.g., Python).

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and implement coding tools (Python, C++, bash scripting) for molecular crystal modelling.
  • Work alongside experimentalists to support computational aspects of research.
  • Assist in building a database on Molecular Solid Solutions.
  • Present findings to both academic and non-academic audiences.
  • Supervise a PhD student and engage in collaborative research efforts.

  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Create and manage independent research activities and contribute to team objectives.
  • Conduct training for peers, visitors, and students on research techniques.
  • Contribute to fostering an inclusive and collegial work environment.
