Eligibility/Qualification
- A good first degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Natural Sciences.
- A PhD (or close to submission) in Solid State Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in modelling molecular crystals and scientific programming (e.g., Python).
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and implement coding tools (Python, C++, bash scripting) for molecular crystal modelling.
- Work alongside experimentalists to support computational aspects of research.
- Assist in building a database on Molecular Solid Solutions.
- Present findings to both academic and non-academic audiences.
- Supervise a PhD student and engage in collaborative research efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Create and manage independent research activities and contribute to team objectives.
- Conduct training for peers, visitors, and students on research techniques.
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive and collegial work environment.
