Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: PhD/DPhil (or near completion) in relevant fields (Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
- Skills:
- Proficient in Python and R
- Experience with bioinformatics and AI/ML analysis pipelines for spatial transcriptomics/proteomics and single-cell genomics
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
- Desirable: Contributions to open-source bioinformatics projects and interest in mechanobiology and biophysics.
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, you will:
- Contribute to a Royal Society funded project on lung fibrosis.
- Develop and maintain bioinformatics and AI/ML data analysis pipelines.
- Analyze spatial multimodal datasets from patient tissues and mouse models, collaborating with partner institutions and research groups.
- Provide mentorship and technical advice to group members and supervise research students.
