Eligibility/Qualification:
- Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, or be close to completion, prior to taking up the appointment.
- The research requires experience in structural chemistry, including the synthesis of framework materials (e.g., MOFs, cyanides) and the use of single-crystal and powder diffraction methods for characterizing their structures.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research on the synthesis and characterization of Truchet-tile framework materials.
- Manage your own academic research and administrative activities, including small-scale project management to coordinate multiple aspects of work and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the research group led by Professor Andrew Goodwin.
