Eligibility/Qualification

  • A PhD/DPhil (or nearing completion) in Biomedical, Electrical, Information Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in:
  • Data acquisition
  • Signal processing
  • Data analysis from wearable or non-wearable sensors and devices

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Design, execute, and analyze wearable diagnostic devices and signal processing aspects for multi-modal studies examining the effects of repetitive head impacts on neurological function, particularly in rugby and snow sports.
  • Collaborate in real-world sport environments, requiring travel away from Oxford and potentially on weekends, for data collection from both professional and amateur athletes.
