Job Description: The selected Postdoctoral Researcher will contribute to the research project aiming to reduce reliance on trial-and-error approaches in chemistry by utilizing quantum mechanics computations and machine learning for predicting chemical reactions. The project will involve generating initial data through computational modeling and developing an effective prediction model for reactivity. The candidate will work with a microfluidic flow reactor to test predicted optimal reaction conditions. This project focuses on novel synthetic routes for active pharmaceutical ingredients and offers an exciting opportunity for research in academia or industry.

How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit electronic applications to admincitos@uliege.be. The application should include the following:

  1. A cover letter expressing interest and motivation for the position
  2. Curriculum vitae (CV)
  3. A short statement outlining career objectives
  4. Names and contact details of 3 professional references Please indicate the reference “Wel-T_ADV_Postdoc_2023” in the subject line of the email.

Last Date for Apply: The application deadline is 1st September 2023, 12:00 (Europe/Brussels). Applications received after this date will not be considered. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
