Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in organic chemistry and catalysis.
  • Background in organic synthesis and catalysis, particularly in metal-catalyzed C-H functionalization processes.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and collaborative research environment.

Job Description:
The postdoctoral researcher will work within the SOC group at HIMS, collaborating closely with AstraZeneca. The project aims to develop general C-H methylation reactions to enhance the biological potency of lead compounds. Responsibilities include conducting research experiments, data analysis, presenting findings at conferences, and contributing to collaborative research efforts.

Benefits and Terms:
The position offers a temporary contract for 38 hours per week, initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability. Salary ranges from € 3,226 to € 5,090 per month (scale 10), excluding allowances.
