Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in biology, chemistry, biophysics, or similar field.
  • Experience in plant molecular biology and biotechnology.
  • Experience with photosynthesis measurements using fluorescence, e.g., PAM.
  • Ability to write and speak English proficiently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Description:

  • Work with Arabidopsis and aspen to analyze modified photosynthetic proteins.
  • Use CRISPR and traditional gene technology for protein modification.
  • Conduct lab, phenotyping facility, and field analyses using advanced photosynthesis study techniques.
  • Collaborate with technical platforms at UPSC and other scientists.
