Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- Experience: Proven experience in spectroscopic characterization of materials (IR, Raman, UV, NMR).
- Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Eddy Dib at the LCS – Catalysis & Spectrochemistry Laboratory. Responsibilities include:
- Methodological Development: Developing advanced spectroscopic characterization methodologies (IR, Raman, UV, NMR) to understand nanoporous material properties.
- Material Science: Synthesis, modification, and physicochemical characterization (XRD, TGA, SEM) of zeolites, zeotypes, or other oxides.
- Performance Evaluation: Assessing the properties and performance of these materials regarding adsorption, catalysis, and separation under real conditions.
- Research Focus: Applying in-situ spectroscopic techniques to locate active sites and understand formation mechanisms at the atomic level.
