Postdoctoral Position at INEM: We are offering a two-year postdoctoral position for a highly motivated Ph.D. candidate to investigate the role of autophagy in kidney epithelial cell homeostasis. Our research focuses on understanding how autophagy integrates fluid shear stress in kidney epithelial cells. For examples of our recent publications on this subject, see Orhon et al., Nat Cell Biol 2016, 18:657-67; Miceli C et al., Nat Cell Biol 2020, 22:1091-1102, Boukhalfa A et al., Nat Commun. The project will involve a combination of biochemical, cellular, and microfluidic approaches, as well as in vivo studies using animal models (mouse and zebrafish) and human tissue samples in collaboration with Necker Hospital.

Eligibility/Qualification: We invite candidates with a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology or physiology obtained within the past four years to apply. The position is available starting on January 10th, 2024, with a salary in accordance with Inserm guidelines.
