Postdoctoral Position – Breast Cancer: The Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute, located in the vibrant city of San Sebastian, Spain, is seeking a motivated postdoctoral fellow to join its multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Research Group. This position offers a 3-year contract, extendable based on funding, to work on an exciting project focused on male breast cancer. The project aims to develop new immunotherapy strategies and therapeutic approaches for luminal breast cancer.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Tumor Immunology and/or Cancer Biology
- Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)
- Prior experience with clinical samples, animal models, cell culture, immunology, and cancer research (demonstrated through first-author publications)
- Strong team player with high motivation
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on a unique research project focused on male breast cancer to define new immunotherapy strategies. Responsibilities include:
- Leading an independent research project within the group
- Assisting with the supervision of students
- Preparing and submitting applications for postdoctoral fellowships (e.g., Juan de la Cierva, Sara Borrell, AECC)
- Collaborating with other ongoing projects in the lab
The candidate will work under the supervision of Principal Investigators Dr. A. Urruticoechea (Medical Oncologist) and Dr. Maria Caffarel (Ikerbasque Researcher).
