The successful candidate will:
- Investigate T. pallidum outer membrane proteins as potential syphilis vaccine targets
- Apply structural vaccinology to evaluate topological and structural models of OMPs
- Use newly developed in vitro cultivation assays and advanced flow cytometric techniques
- Study antibody responses targeting extracellular loops of OMPs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of syphilis vaccine research
