Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Strong interest and expertise in device physics and modelling.
- Proficiency in English communication and writing.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and interdisciplinary team.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with compact SPICE modelling or TCAD simulations.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Perform physical device modelling of Schottky-barrier field-effect transistors.
- Co-develop compact SPICE-compatible models in Verilog-A for ambipolar SBFETs and NDR-FETs.
- Contribute to reports and deliverables for the European Commission.
- Assist in the supervision of a PhD student working in the same domain.
- Collaborate with international partners including NAMLAB and TU Wien.
