Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field
- Ability to design and execute multi-color flow cytometry staining of PBMCs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Demonstration of ownership and accountability
- Collaborative spirit, self-motivation, and the ability to work in multiple sub-projects simultaneously
- Desire to learn, enthusiasm, and passion for exploring new biology
Job Description: As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Develop and execute in vitro assays using primary human immune cells or cell lines
- Analyze samples from patients
- Independently design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments, analyze and interpret data
- Prepare data reports, give presentations at internal and external meetings
- Train and mentor student interns (Bachelor and Master students)
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in proteomics and/or sc-RNA-seq
- Demonstrated cell biology expertise including imaging techniques (confocal microscopy) and cell line engineering using CRISPR is desirable
- Understanding of cell metabolism and mitochondria
