Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Must have completed the PhD between September 2016 and January 2018.
- Relevant research experience in Li-ion batteries is highly desirable.
- Proficiencies in electrochemistry, materials characterization techniques, including spectroscopy and microscopy, are preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Job Description:
The selected postdoctoral fellow will work primarily on the development of safe high-temperature and high-pressure batteries. Responsibilities include:
- Design and synthesis of novel nanocomposite materials.
- Construction and electrochemical testing of battery prototypes.
- Materials characterization using various techniques (spectroscopy, microscopy, thermogravimetric methods).
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance research outcomes.
