Postdoctoral Position in Biofabrication: The Institute for Materials Science and Engineering at Clausthal University of Technology is seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join as a postdoctoral researcher in biofabrication. This position, available for one plus three years (1+3 years), offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of digitalization in materials science and engineering, particularly focusing on biological tissues.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree (M.Sc., diploma, or equivalent) in (bio)materials science, (bio)physics, (bio)chemistry, biomedical engineering, biology, or a related field
- Doctorate in the relevant research fields is desirable but not required; exceptional candidates without a doctorate will be offered the opportunity to pursue a doctorate at Clausthal University of Technology
- Experience with biofabrication in areas such as microfluidic devices, bioprinting, or related fields is desirable
- Proficiency in English; willingness to acquire German language skills if necessary
Job Description: The selected candidate will support the development of an EU consortium application in the first year and lead their own research project thereafter. Key responsibilities include publication of research results, presentation at international conferences, teaching support, and participation in administrative and strategic tasks. The position also offers opportunities for collaboration with European and Australian institutions, including lab visits abroad.
