Job Description

As part of the Department of Proteomics and Signal Transduction, the selected candidate will:

  • Lead the integrative analysis of large-scale proteomics, lipidomics, glycomics, and clinical datasets across multiple patient cohorts.
  • Develop statistical and machine learning approaches for biomarker discovery, patient stratification, and disease trajectory modeling.
  • Build and contribute to reproducible bioinformatics pipelines for multi-omics data processing.
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable biological and clinical insights in collaboration with other scientists.
  • Promote open-science practices through public code, data, and protocol repositories.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong experience with large-scale omics datasets; proteomics experience is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Python, AI-assisted coding, and relevant data science libraries.
  • Proven scientific independence and creativity through publications or contributions to open-source projects.
  • Interest in neurodegenerative diseases and translational research.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
