Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD or equivalent research qualification in acoustofluidics, physical acoustics, fluid mechanics, microfluidics, or related fields.
- Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
- Candidates should ideally have graduated within the last three years, although earlier completions may be considered under special circumstances.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research and documented experience in writing scientific publications.
- Experience in experimental acoustofluidics, theoretical nonlinear acoustics, and experimental microfluidics.
Job Description
- Conduct fundamental research on nonlinear interactions between acoustic waves and fluids across different frequency regimes.
- Develop acoustofluidic devices for studying nonlinear acoustics.
- Build acoustic- and optical-based measurement setups.
- Perform theoretical investigations analytically and numerically.
- Supervise MSc degree projects.
- Assist in seeking external research funding and collaborate with industry.
- Administrative tasks related to the work duties listed.
