Postdoctoral Position in Biomolecular Adaptation in Deep Eutectic Solvents

  • Designation: Postdoctoral Associate
  • Research Area: Physical Chemistry or Chemical Biology
  • Location: Montenegro Lab, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain
  • Eligibility/Qualification:
  • Hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong background in biophysical characterization and/or supramolecular chemistry
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Job Description:
  • Conduct research on biomolecules in compositionally designed deep eutectic solvents
  • Employ spectroscopy methods (e.g., circular dichroism, fluorescence emission, FTIR, UV-vis) for protein characterization
  • Perform activity assays to study protein function
  • Additional methods (e.g., scattering) may be utilized for further characterization
