Postdoctoral Position in Brazil at IARA – Center of Artificial Intelligence in the Remarking of Urban Environments

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Computer Science or related field (obtained within the last 7 years)
- Strong publication record in the project area, mainly in high-impact journals
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of programming languages and statistical tools
- Significant experience in complex networks and machine learning
Job Description:
The selected candidate will work within the scope of a subproject of the Center of Artificial Intelligence in the Remarking of Urban Environments (IARA). The subproject is coordinated by Professor Alexandre Plastino and Professor Antonio Augusto de Aragão Rocha. The research will involve the use of machine learning and complex networks to analyze and predict attributes in multidimensional time series of urban data, contributing to the development of smart and sustainable cities. The researcher will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship of R$ 12,000.00 per month and a research contingency fund equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship value.
