Eligibility / Qualification
- Ph.D. (or near completion) in Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
- Strong background in cancer biology, molecular biology, cell culture models, and mouse handling.
- Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Organoid models and CAF biology
- ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, single-cell assays
- Bioinformatic analysis of transcriptomic or genomic datasets
- Excellent communication and scientific writing skills in English.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Job Description
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on tumor-stroma interactions driving cancer metastasis.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technologies, including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, to explore cellular heterogeneity.
- Analyze experimental data and contribute to grant proposals and manuscript writing.
- Mentor students and engage in scientific outreach and dissemination activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary translational research team within idiPAZ.
