Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Biochemistry, or Plant Physiology.
- Strong laboratory skills in molecular biology are required.
- Experience in transcription factor characterization and/or metabolic flux analysis is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and a demonstrated track record of publishing PhD research in peer-reviewed high-quality journals.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting functional genomics, metabolomics, and isotope flux analysis to study the molecular mechanisms of carbon partitioning in Populus trees.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance our understanding of CO2 assimilation and carbon sequestration.
- Engaging in experimental plant research with a focus on trees, contributing to the overall objectives of the research group.
