Postdoctoral Position in Cell Immunology: A two-year postdoctoral fellowship is available at the Laboratory of Cellular Immunology, ICGEB Trieste, under the supervision of Dr. Federica Benvenuti. The research focuses on the interaction between dendritic cell biology, hyperglycemia, and tumor immune evasion, utilizing preclinical models, advanced imaging, and computational analysis.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related field
  • Strong background in preclinical research
  • Expertise in experimental models of diabetes and cancer, flow cytometry analysis, and tissue imaging
  • Ability to independently analyze data and prepare findings for dissemination

Job Description:

  • Investigate dendritic cell dysfunction caused by metabolic stress in diabetes
  • Conduct experiments using preclinical models of diabetes and cancer
  • Perform flow cytometry analysis and tissue imaging
  • Utilize computational analysis for data interpretation
  • Prepare and disseminate research findings under the supervision of the PI
